How it Started

Driven Desserts began with two high school students who wanted to give back to their community  and inspire others to do the same. Growing up in the Loudoun County “bubble,” we saw how easy it can be to get caught up in our own world. We wanted to create a way for teens to step outside of it, connect with others, and make a real difference.

In partnership with America's Soup Kitchen, we bake and distribute desserts (cookies, brownies, cake balls etc.) every Wednesday alongside meals for people in need. Our goal is simple: to brighten someone’s day with a little sweetness and show that small acts of kindness can have a big impact.

Our Impact

At Driven Desserts, we’re proving that when young people come together with purpose, even something as small as a cookie can change a day, a mood, or maybe even a life. 

Weekly Deliveries: Every Wednesday, in partnership with America's Soup Kitchen, we distribute cookies, brownies, and cake balls alongside hot meals.

2,500+ Smiles: Since launching, we have donated over 2,500 desserts, each one baked with care and a belief in community, compassion, and connection.

Priceless Connection: The people who sign up for meals truly look forward to our desserts, and the connection we build during distribution is the heart of what we do.
