Starting at the beginning of 2025, Driven Desserts was created to lighten up people's days and give back to our Loudoun County Community in Virginia.
Driven Desserts began with two high school students who wanted to give back to their community and inspire others to do the same. Growing up in the Loudoun County “bubble,” we saw how easy it can be to get caught up in our own world. We wanted to create a way for teens to step outside of it, connect with others, and make a real difference.
In partnership with America's Soup Kitchen, we bake and distribute desserts (cookies, brownies, cake balls etc.) every Wednesday alongside meals for people in need. Our goal is simple: to brighten someone’s day with a little sweetness and show that small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
Since launching, Driven Desserts has donated over 2,500 desserts, each one baked with care and a belief in community, compassion, and connection.
At Driven Desserts, we’re proving that when young people come together with purpose, even something as small as a cookie can change a day, a mood, or maybe even a life. People who sign up for meals look forward to our desserts and the smile we get from them during distribution is priceless.
In 2025, we decided to turn our favorite pastimes into a platform for change. As founders, our passions have always been eclectic—from the precision of baking and cooking to the discipline of tennis and reading. Driven Desserts was born from the idea that these creative outlets shouldn't just be hobbies; they should be a vehicle for community outreach.
